Crock-Pot Mississippi Green Beans



These Crock-Pot Mississippi Green Beans are a flavorful and easy side dish. The combination of au jus gravy mix, ranch dressing mix, and a hint of spice from pepperoncini peppers creates a delicious medley of flavors. Topped with crispy bacon, these green beans are sure to be a hit at any meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini peppers, sliced optional for added spice
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

After trimming, put the green beans in the Crock-Pot

Melted butter, ranch dressing mix, au jus gravy mix, and pepperoncini peppers if using should all be combined in a bowl

Cover the green beans with the butter and spice mixture

Fill the Crock-Pot with the chicken broth

To guarantee that the green beans are evenly coated, stir the ingredients in the Crock-Pot

Once the green beans are tender, cook them on low for four to six hours with a lid on

Toss in some crumbled bacon and season with salt and pepper to taste before serving the green beans
