Skinny Gluten-Free Hamburger Buns

You can make your own gluten-free, dairy-free, and low-calorie hamburger buns and eat them. These buns are great for people who are sensitive to gluten or who want a healthier alternative to regular hamburger buns.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon psyllium husk powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free all-purpose flour, almond flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt

Add olive oil, honey or maple syrup, warm water, and apple cider vinegar to the dry ingredients

Mix until a dough forms

Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball

Place the balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten them slightly to form burger bun shapes

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown and cooked through

Once baked, allow the buns to cool slightly before slicing and using them for your favorite burgers or sandwiches
