Ingredients:
- 16 ounces ziti pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 190C 375F
Follow the directions on the package to cook the ziti until it is al dente
Remove the water and set it aside
Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat
Put in the chopped onion and cook it until it gets soft
Take out the garlic and red pepper flakes and add them
Cook for one minute
Add the heavy cream and crushed tomatoes and mix well
Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring every now and then
To taste, add salt and pepper to the sauce
Toss the cooked ziti in the sauce to coat it
Put the ziti and sauce mixture in a baking dish that has been greased
Grate some Parmesan cheese and shred some mozzarella cheese on top
Heat the oven and put the dish in it
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles
Enjoy while hot!
