Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp

Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp is a healthier version of the classic dish, featuring crispy shrimp coated in a creamy and spicy sauce. This recipe offers a delightful combination of flavors and textures, making it perfect for appetizers or a main course.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

Warm the air fryer up to 200C 400F

Pour Thai sweet chili sauce, honey, and lime juice into a bowl

Mix them together to make the sauce

Put cornstarch, panko breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper in a different bowl

Dip the shrimp in the cornstarch mix, and then shake off the extra

Put a little cooking spray on the shrimp

Set the shrimp in the air fryer basket so that they are all in one layer

Flip the shrimp over every six to eight minutes until they are golden brown and cooked all the way through

When the shrimp is done cooking, toss them in the sauce until they are all covered

If you want, you can serve it right away with sliced green onions and sesame seeds on top
