Ingredients:
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup crushed Butterfinger candy bars
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C
Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth
In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined
Stir the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until smooth
Gradually add flour and salt, stirring until just combined
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan
Sprinkle crushed Butterfinger candy bars evenly over the top of the batter, pressing them slightly into the batter
Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs
Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares
